Changing Places Toilet

At Jubilee Community Centre we are keen that everybody who wishes to can take part in any of our activities.  For this reason, we are raising funds to install a hoist assisted disabled toilet (also known as a Changing Places toilet).

To use the toilet in safety and comfort, many people need to be able to access Changing Places, which have more space and the right equipment, including a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist.

Over a 1/4 million people need Changing Places toilets to enable them to get out and about and enjoy the day-to-day activities many of us take for granted.  If there is not one available, these people must stay home or sit in their own waste.  We find this unacceptable.

The toilet will be open to the general public at any time during our opening hours and will be registered with the Changing Places interactive map
